My Brand is Alive
You work very hard to figure out your company’s “brand.” Smart companies understand that employees are a vital part of that brand’s reflection. But don’t assume that your people know this information and how to clearly articulate it.
Beyond the messaging and themes about the brand’s meaning, your vision and key differentiators — help your people see your brand as a personality. Make it come alive. It’s the same objective that you strive for as you differentiate yourself in the marketplace.
Explain how the brand would act if it were a person – enable your employees to personally relate to the brand and understand its defining attributes. Tell them more than the ‘what’ but the ‘why.’ Empower them with creative, articulate writing, imagery and videos. You’ll find that this knowledge will enable your employees to further express that brand, to ensure its growth and, importantly, actually help you reach your brand’s potential.
